چکیده

The search for large gap quantum spin Hall (QSH) and anomalous (QAH) insulators is important both fundamental practical interests. degenerate multi-orbitals $p_x,p_y$ in honeycomb lattice provides a paradigm QSH state with boosted topological of the first order atomic spin-orbit coupling. By using elementary band representation, we explore feasibility this mechanism general two-dimensional lattices, find that biparticle lattices $C_{3v}$ or $C_{4v}$ symmetry could work. We further provide concrete tight-binding models on honeycomb, kagome square to demonstrate desired physics. introducing ferromagnetism into state, extend QAH gap. states can be achieved when Fermi level at integer filling only lattice, but certain fractional other lattices. conclude brief discussion possible material venues such mechanism.

One Dimensional Topological Lattices

The lattice theoretic terminology used in this paper is consistent with Birkhoff [2]. The topological terms can be found in [5] or [8] with the following exceptions. If X and Y are sets, X\Y denotes the relative compliment of Y with respect to X. If A is a subset of a topological space then A*, A"and FiA)=A*\A° denote the topological closure, interior and boundary of A. The symbol 0 denotes the...

Intrinsic Two-Dimensional Organic Topological Insulators in Metal-Dicyanoanthracene Lattices.

We predict theoretical existence of intrinsic two-dimensional organic topological insulator (OTI) states in Cu-dicyanoanthracene (DCA) lattice, a system that has also been grown experimentally on Cu substrate, based on first-principle density functional theory calculations. The pz-orbital Kagome bands having a Dirac point lying exactly at the Fermi level are found in the freestanding Cu-DCA lat...

Two-dimensional chiral topological superconductivity in Shiba lattices

The chiral p-wave superconductor is the archetypal example of a state of matter that supports non-Abelian anyons, a highly desired type of exotic quasiparticle. With this, it is foundational for the distant goal of building a topological quantum computer. While some candidate materials for bulk chiral superconductors exist, they are subject of an ongoing debate about their actual paring state. ...

Topological Residuated ‎Lattices

In this paper, we study the separtion axioms $T_0,T_1,T_2$ and $T_{5/2}$ on topological and semitopological residuated lattices and we show that they are equivalent on topological residuated lattices. Then we prove that for every infinite cardinal number $alpha$, there exists at least one nontrivial Hausdorff topological residuated lattice of cardinality $alpha$. In the follows, we obtain some ...

Topological states in multi-orbital HgTe honeycomb lattices

Research on graphene has revealed remarkable phenomena arising in the honeycomb lattice. However, the quantum spin Hall effect predicted at the K point could not be observed in graphene and other honeycomb structures of light elements due to an insufficiently strong spin-orbit coupling. Here we show theoretically that 2D honeycomb lattices of HgTe can combine the effects of the honeycomb geomet...
